Meets the First
Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Purposes:
- discuss and identify plants and methods/techniques
around the garden
- learn more about various trees, shrubs, perennials
and annuals
- encourage trading or giving divisions &
starts (ways to propagatate plants) from our own gardens
- work in conjunction with the various boards and
committees in the
Williamsfield area to beautify parks and other areas of our community
- take field trips and listen to guest speakers
- and, most importantly: to spread the
enthusiasm for gardening!
Meetings, 2010:
- January: no meeting
- February: field trip
- March: propagation workshop
- May-October: garden parties at volunteers'
homes in Williamsfield, Dahinda, Oak Run and beyond
- November/December: regular meeting, the Williamsfield
Public Library (wreath-making workshop in December--see below and right for pics of previous wreath-making workshops)
