September 17, 2023 Save The Date

You are invited! In 1923, the Home Culture Club of Williamsfield purchased the land to establish what is now Veteran's Memorial Park. We want to commemorate this event on Sunday, September 17, 5-7p.m. with a 100th Anniversary cake during our annual Ice Cream Social. We will have old pictures of the park to view, tours of the caboose along with homemade ice cream, coney or hot dogs and chips to fund the annual Christmas display at both Doubet-Benjamin Park and Veteran's Park.

The Williamsfield Parks Association was officially formed in 2015 to oversee usage, maintenance, and capital improvements within 3 community-owned parks. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Williamsfield Parks Board is a cooperative membership of several different civic groups, all with interests in the Williamsfield parks, especially the largest, Doubet-Benjamin Park, a 15 acre property used for festivals, social gatherings, recreation, & nature-watching.

The current groups with representation include: the Lighting of the Park gals, the Friends of the Park Coffee Shop, the Williamsfield Garden Club, the Williamsfield mapping committee(s), and the Williamsfield FFA Alumni and Friends.

All individuals and groups who utilize any of the area parks are welcome to join us, with meetings the last Tuesday of every month at either the Doubet-Benjamin Park Pavilion or the library. If nothing else, go enjoy Williamsfield Parks!!!
